Split Personalities

September 10, 2010 at 4:02 AM (Poetry)

Sighs erupt from muddled thoughts
kisses are pressed against my skin,
but they never find my soul
you back away a goodnight
on your lips, beautiful
Never know when your face will find
my eyes (tear) again
Will you be mine
stay and hold me warm,
make my dreams aflame?
The lights flash and you,
pushed away, run
